Photograph caption dated September 20, 1960 reads, "Mrs. Eugenia Brauer, 6411 Aldea Ave., Van Nuys, was in New York today to plead with Russian Premier Nikita Khrushchev for permission for her aged parents to leave Russia for United States. She says she hopes to break through Khrushchev's security barrier to get personal interview. With her before she left home are her children, Eddie, left, 8, and Andrew, 2."
