Description
A large double-sided parade banner of the Native Sons of the Golden West. One side made of off-white silk and purple velveteen; oil painting of Sutter's Fort in the center and U. S. and California flags at the bottom ; trimmed with gold metallic bullion fringe and tassels; N.S.G.W. SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA. painted in gold above the flags. Overpanel of purple velveteen with SUTTER'S FORT PARLOR 241 embroidered in gold bullion thread; edged with gold bullion fringe; puple velveteen rosette in upper right corner. Opposite side is of red silk with INSTITUTED MAY 1, 1908 and decorative scroll work painted in metallic gold.
