Photograph article dated February 15, 1962 partially reads, "Two clues - a scribbled note on the margin of a newspaper left in an airliner, and footprints in the rainsoaked earth - were being followed today by sheriff's deputies searching for Donna Mae Frislie, 14-year-old babysitter missing from Lancaster since Tuesday and feared kidnaped... The footprints were found at the home of Mrs. Barbara Christiansen, 44245 Second St. E., where Donna sat with the Christiansen children, Miselle, 5; Shawnee Lee, 4, and Mark, 3. Today, more than 100 deputies conducted a house-to-house search in the Christiansen neighborhood and in the surrounding desert." Photograph caption reads, "Sheriff's posse searches desert terrain for missing girl." In this article, she is called Donna Mae, but her name is Donna Marie Frislie.; See images #00130813 through #00130815 for all photos in this series.
