Photograph article dated January 21, 1958 partially reads, "Twenty-two women are today spotlighted as nominees for the coveted Hourglass Award to be presented by Hilltoppers of the Assistance League to the Valley's 'most outstanding woman' on Jan. 29 in Sportsmen's Lodge, North Hollywood...Mrs. R. Max Temple is an active Girl Scout Troop leader and was elected alternate delegate to Girl Scout National convention in Philadelphia last year."
