View of the S.S. Avalon moored at the Catalina Terminal in the Los Angeles Harbor. Popularly known as 'Queen of the Channel,' the S.S. Avalon made her maiden voyage to Catalina on April 15, 1920. The Catalina Terminal was located at 100 West Water Street, Berths 184 and 185, Wilmington, CA. Photograph circa 1940.
