She is resting her hands on a twisted wooden chair at left and is looking slightly to the right. She is wearing a long dark dress and her dark hair is parted at center and tied behind her head. She is standing on a small shaggy rug. Don Raymundo was the grantee of Rancho Valle de San Rafael in Baja California, and Don Bernardo was the owner of Rancho Cajon de Santa Ana in Alta California.
