Description
Exterior view of the house once owned by Capt. Charles Ellis, his wife and their daughter Kate. Charles was well known in Los Angeles and founded the Ellis Club, a musical organization. The house was adjacent to St. James Park, located on the southeast corner of Scarff and Twenth-third Streets.
