Description
In public debate before the City Council took action on August 29, 1956, on the city Communist registration ordinance, Dorothy Healey, county Communist Party chairman, engaged in a bitter verbal wrangle with State Senator Jack B. Tenney (hands in pockets). A moment later she was ordered away from the microphone and walked out of the chamber.
