Description
This pamphlet describes Villa Montalvo, the country home of former San Francisco mayor and US senator James Phelan. The text was originally printed in the April, 1915 issue of Overland Monthly. The pamphlet also contains many pictures of the house and its grounds. Villa Montalvo is now owned by a non-profit organization.
