Photograph article dated July 29, 1964 partially reads, "Lovely blonde Sally Parsons looks every inch a queen even if she didn't win the title of National College Queen at the New York World's Fair. Sally Parsons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rollin C. Parsons of Burbank was busily baking a cake to take on a weekend picnic. As she stirred the chocolate frosting she said 'she missed all the fancy decorations provided for her at the cake decorating contest at the Fair.' Sally is a student at the University of California at Santa Barbara where she was named for the dean's list. She is an education major and wants to become a junior high school teacher. In the contest, entrants were chosen on the basis of grades and social activities."
