Title supplied by cataloger. The Northern Trust Open, formerly known as the Nissan Open, and originally known as the Los Angeles Open, is a regular golf tournament on the PGA Tour. This yearly event has been played at numerous golf courses in Southern California between its inauguration in 1926 to present day (2009). These golf courses have included: Los Angeles Country Club (Los Angeles), El Caballero Country Club (Tarzana), Wilshire Country Club (Los Angeles), Riviera Country Club (Pacific Palisades), Hillcrest Country Club (Los Angeles), Griffith Park (Los Angeles), Fox Hills Country Club (Culver City), Inglewood Country Club (Inglewood), Rancho Park Golf Course (Los Angeles), Brookside Golf Course (Pasadena), Valencia Country Club (Valencia). In 1992, the Nissan Los Angeles Open, held at the Riviera Country Club, was the site of Tiger Woods' first PGA Tour event as an amateur player.
