Description: Photograph of a Schooner sailing offshore at Georgetown harbour, Grand Cayman. A Schooner is a type of sailing vessel characterized by the use of fore-and-aft sails on two or more masts. The ship looks to be flying the flag of the Cayman Islands.
Grand Cayman is the largest of the three Cayman Islands and sits about 170 miles to the north west of Jamaica. A Scottish missionary was shipwrecked here in 1845.
