PART OF A SERIES: The series consists of source materials related to the use of force that were collected and analyzed by Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue. Included are testimonies and statistics that were obtained from the Police Misconduct Lawyer Referral Service, a nonprofit organization dedicated to counseling victims of police abuse the Board of Police Commissioners' report regarding the Rodney King incident memoranda and correspondence excerpts from the Los Angeles City Charter regarding police discipline instructional materials from a physical contact control course offered by The Police S.A.F.E.T.Y. System, a law enforcement training and consulting firm and a case study of one police officer's experience using deadly force.
