Group of Hopi men, women, and children wearing regalia and holding various items while taking part in a ceremony.
Title transcribed from item; misspellings corrected by cataloger. Signed on mount, "Frederick Monsen." Title supplied by cataloger. Monsen's typed label on back says: "The Flute Ceremony of the Hopi Indians at the pueblo of Mishongovi [i.e. Mishongnovi] alternates with the Snake Dance at other pueblos of the same people. Photo made in 1890." Same image as (253) - variant crop.
