Description
She became Mrs. F.M. Pottenger. "Miss Adelaide Babbit had joined the [School] staff from two years of teaching in South Pasadena and was a graduate of the University of Vermont. She taught Latin and Greek…She and Dr. Francis M. Pottenger both roomed with Mrs. Sam Wilson at the corner of White Oak (now Foothill Boulvevard) and Myrtle Avenue. ...In August of 1900 Miss Babbitt became Mrs. Pottenger."
