Description
A wooded area near Atlanta, Georgia, that was the site of the death of Union General James Birdseye McPherson in 1864. There is a horse skeleton on the left in front of a tall tree.
Similar image can be found in Barnard's Photographic views of Sherman's campaign, plate 33.
