“Rev. D.T. & Mrs Robertson, 1909” Group portrait of the Rev. Robertson with his wife Sarah and their dog standing in the doorway of a house. Daniel Thomson Robertson (1869-) was appointed to Manchuria in 1890, married Sarah Campbell Nicholson, 1896, and became Principal of the Manchuria Christian College in Moukden, 1907. He served during the war with the Chinese Labour Corps in France, 1918-1919. ❧ Moukden, the capital of Manchuria, became an important station in the interior and Hospitals, Schools and Orphanages were built there.
