Photograph caption dated October 6, 1978 reads, "CHP officer Mike Spicer removed Myron Valentine, 5, from wreckage as firemen work to free trapped driver following a collision on Pacific Coast Highway (near Big Rock Drive) in Malibu in which one person was killed and two others seriously injured. Police say the driver of the car was attempting to make a left hand turn when she apparently failed to yield to an oncoming cement truck and was sideswiped. Helen Anderson, of Inglewood, and Betty Kyer of Los Angeles, both passengers, were reported in serious condition. Police withheld name of the dead woman driver."
