Photograph article dated March 19, 1951 partially reads, "A Reseda man, shot through the abdomen early today at his home, was in serious condition at Valley Hospital while detectives attempted to unravel incoherent statements of his wife in which she reportedly received $160,000. William B. 'Tex' Higginbotham, 25, a quarterhorse breeder, was found wounded in his home at 17827 Superior St. after his wife, Barbara Ann, 40, called Valley Division police. Det. Sgt. Al Ortiz and Det. George Prettyman were investigating the shooting." Photograph caption reads, "Wife of Reseda shooting victim quizzed - Det. G.
