Original photograph is stained in the upper left corner. Western actor George Montgomery was on an episode of "Hawaiian Eye," which aired February 1963. In November 1963, after his divorce from singer Dinah Shore, he testified against his former housekeeper Ruth Wenzel, who was obsessed with Montgomery and attempted to shoot him. Photograph article dated January 30, 1963 partially reads, "Handsome and mannerly as ever, George Montgomery, following the period of his divorce from Dinah Shore, has now unquestionably entered a more serious phase of his career—and he’s never been busier. 'Dinah and I are still as close as any two people can be and we help each other in any way we can. It was just one of those things'." Photograph caption reads, "George Montgomery—Things going well.”
