North Hollywood hot rodder Bill Quirk of Luggers Car Club is shown above in 'dragster,' advanced form of hot rod, which competes at one of several drag strips within a hundred miles of Valley. Quirk, an average Valley boy, attends summer school in mornings, works afternoons and pursues hot rodding interest in spare time.
