Description
A young girl wearing a head covering and striped dress knits with a spool of dark thread.
The back of the postcard is blank and contains a printed title "Cameroun. - Fillette d'Omvan apprenant a tricoter" ("Young girl of Omvan learns to knit") and the name of the mission agency "Editions Peres du Saint-Esprit". The Congregation of the Holy Ghost was a Catholic order that sent missionaries to French colonies in Africa.
