Photograph of a view of Mission San Buenaventura and early Ventura from behind and east of the mission, ca.1883. Most of quadrangle still exists but is in deteriorated condition. The church and bell tower stands to the right of the quadrangle. A small outhouse(?) is visible in the foreground just beyond the wooden fence.
