Description
Before founding the Security Bank, J. F. Sartori settled in Monrovia and started the First National Bank there, in association with J. H. Bartle. This photo shows Mr. Sartori, with brown derby, horse and buggy in front of his Monrovia home shortly after he built it in 1887. He moved to Los Angeles two years later.
