Description
"PORT-LEON - Vue generale - General view." From the top of a hill the photograph shows over twenty buildings of various sizes occupying a flat stretch of land on the tip of a bay.
The back of the postcard is blank and contains information about the publisher: "Missionnaires du Sacre-Coeur d'Issoudun. -- PAPOUASIE - NOUVELLE-GUINEE (Oceanie) -- Sacred Heart Fathers - Papua." The Sacred Heart Fathers were a Catholic missions agency.
