View of two story building situated on a corner lot; entrance to building is on corner; on short side to the left is a restaurant, so indicated by a sign perpendicular to building; first floor separted from 2nd by a roof partially extending over sidewalk; 2nd floor has round arched windows with partial arches above each supported by corbels; 6 windows on left side and 8 windows on long right side; 2nd floor has decorative railing in front of windows; cars are parked on street in both directions; other buildings extend to right of photo.
Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento.
