Description
Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi discusses his book, “The Last Song of Dusk.” He begins by discussing the book’s plot, which is set in turn of the century India. He explains that in the book he explores the complexity of love through his two central characters, Vardhmann and Anuradha who are young newly weds who are tested throughout the course of the book. Shanghvi then discusses the relationship between Anuradha and her mother-in-law. He goes on to explore the interplay between the East and the West and how it plays out in the novel. Later in the interview he reads aloud from his work and shares how his own life has influenced his writing.
