Typed caption below: Margaret Stousse [sic], daughter of one of Holy City's disciples (Richard). Photograph taken on the sight of the Holy City conservatory. Margaret is demonstrating the huge telescope that attracted thousands to the Holy City area. It was one of the first of it's [sic] kind in California's mountain areas and tourists were invited to view the moon at close range and pick out a plot of ground which they could purchase for 10c and acquire whenever they had reached a state of divine perfection that would allow them to leave their earthly existance [sic] and belong to a friendly group of souls awaiting a new life in a place called "Almost Heaven."
