Notes on reverse: "Early years lived in Templeton - later moved to Oakland - died in early 1960's - born 1890s. Traveled extensively - collected dolls. Both taught - attended Paso Robles High Scfhool and San Jose Normal. Juanita taught H.E. Devota later worked as a pharmacist in Oakland. Save collection to HE department in 1959. Picture taken in their home in Oakland in 1955."
