Photo -black and white: Barlow Berry Camp circa 1900s. Thomas E. Barlow's berry pickers from San Francisco in dining tents at the Barlow Ranch circa 1900. With 100's of acres of berries to be picked, the Barlows invited hundreds of children from the San Francisco Children's Aid Society to camp out, pick berries and earn some spending money during the summer harvest months.
