Description
Boy Scouts at Civil Defense headquarters on Mt. Lee, chart atomic bomb hits on Los Angeles and Long Beach in a simulated enemy attack. Circles are one mile apart. If the attack had been real, here's what would have happened: (A) All buildings gone, 90 per cent of people dead, all others hurt. (B) Fifty per cent dead, 35 per cent injured. (C) Ten per cent dead, 40 per cent injured. (D) Five per cent injured, no deaths. Photo dated: June 1954.
