Photograph caption dated May 14, 1955 reads "Marking the end of pledgeship for four new members, the ritual of jewels ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday by Alpha Mu chapter, Beta Sigma Phi. Chapter persident (sic), Mrs. Gerald Huth, presents pin to new member, seated, Mrs. Robert Warren Sternfels. Pledges, standing, are Mmes. Anson Bowling, William T. Shelton and Ray Chesley, left to right."
