Description
Photograph article dated September 17, 1958 partially reads, "The Rev. Paul Sawyer will conduct his first service at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow as the newly appointed minister of the Valley Unitarian - Universalist Church, 14933 Victory Blvd., Van Nuys. He succeeds the Rev. Harold Schmidt, who resigned to accept a call from the Stockton Unitarian Church. The Rev. Mr. Sawyer is a graduate of Harvard University and the Starr-King School for the Ministry at Berkeley. He was formerly assistant minister of the San Francisco Unitarian Church."
