Description
In 1960, the North Hollywood YMCA became the East Valley YMCA.
Photograph caption reads: "Amateur swim champ Miss Molly Botkin congratulates young Alan Slasor on his decision to join the free Learn-To-Swim School to be held during Easter vacation for boys 8 to 12. Budd Linn, program secretary of the North Hollywood Area Y, approves too. Program is sponsored jointly by the Valley Times and above-mentioned Y. While Miss Botkin is not connected with the program she nods 100 per cent approval". Photograph dated: March 22, 1958.
