Photograph caption dated July 25, 1986 reads, "From left: Korean War veteran Cpl. Charles Aldrson, 94-year-old Jack Coopersmith, who was a private in World War I, Vietnam veteran Sgt. Delbert Holmes and World War II Sgt. Emmet Burke turn out at the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration complex to protest the proposed sale of 80 acres of open space and public parkland that's part of the VA's medical center. The U.S. Senate and House are due to vote on a bill stopping the sale."
