Dorothy Fay, was an American actress and married to country singer and actor Tex Ritter. The couple made four movies together including, 'Song of the Buckaroo' and Rainbow Over the Range.' She also had small roles in 'Philadelphia Story' and 'Lady Be Good.' Dorothy Ritter retired from show business in 1941 and devoted her time to charitable associations such as the United Cerebral Palsy Association and to her husband and two sons Thomas and comedian, John Ritter.
Photograph dated January 21, 1958 shows Mrs. Tex (Dorothy Fay) Ritter, who is one of 22 women nominated by the Assistance League Hilltoppers for the Hourglass Award for her work with the National United Cerebral Palsy Association.
