Description: The Antelope Valley Fair and Alfalfa Festival is held annually at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, 2551 West Avenue H, in Lancaster, California.
Photograph caption dated September 11, 1954 reads "Lovely Barbara Schumacker (sic), above, queen of Lancaster's annual Antelope Valley Fair and Alfalfa Festival, will end her official duties with close of four-day event tomorrow night." Miss Shumaker is from Rosamond.
