Photograph caption dated June 8, 1959 reads "George Hanawalt, manager of the San Fernando branch office of the Edison Company and member of the Kiwanis Club, is raised to shoulders of Al Dalton, left, chairman of the fiesta committee, and Marshal Julian, city administrator, after slamming a four-bagger at dedication of new Las Palmas Playground during game between the Kiwanis and Rotary clubs. The Kiwanians edged the Rotarians 3-2 behind the pitching of Banker Andy Anderson. Losing pitcher was John Lloyd."
