Photograph caption dated June 29, 1961 reads, "Yank Killer - Los Angeles Angels' Ryne Duren is the toast of the town today as he pitched and batted his teammates to a 5-3 victory over the New York Yankees last night at Wrigley Field. His hit was the first in 16 times at the bat to drive in two runs. His right arm slants accounted for 12 strikeouts."
