Photograph of a panoramic view of Los Angeles, from the court house (corner of Broadway and Temple Street), ca.1904-1905. Many residential buildings and a few commercial buildings make up the cityscape. The foreground shows the intersection of Temple Street and Broadway (?). The second Los Angeles High School (constructed ca.1890's) stands very prominently in the distance (center). The six-story school has a square clock tower (eight-stories tall) on the southern corner.
