Description
Men and women gathered at the corner of First Street and Santa Clara Streets, San Jose, California, in front of a bank with "Safe Deposit Bank" embossed on its doorway (the Safe Deposit Bank of Savings, later the Bank of Italy). On reverse is written: "Crowd at the corner of First and Santa Clara Streets" and "1914." The women are smiling, wearing long coats and suits with long skirts.
