Image of an advertisement for the San Francisco News Letter July 18 fortieth anniversary issue featuring a mariachi musician facing a window playing guitar in traditional Mexican dress; wide decorative border.
Date supplied by cataloger based on artist and publication history; W.K. Briggs worked in San Francisco beginning in approximately 1892, July 18th was a Saturday in 1896 and 1903, and the S.F. News Letter was approximately fifty years old in 1910. "W. K. Briggs"--text, artist's signature on stone, bottom left of image. "Saturday July 18th"--text, bottom center margin.
