Description: "Staircase and overhanging roof frame this view of the east courtyard of the new Carmichael Apartments, recently completed at 5800 Engle Road near Fair Oaks Boulevard. The 52 unit development, owned by Stewart H. House, was erected on plans executed by Lewis and Stonham by the Murchison Construction Company. Financing for the $518,000 development was arranged through Crocker-Citizens National Bank"
