Photograph article dated August 29, 1949 reads, "It was farewell and good luck to two San Fernando Rotary Club members and their wives when they were tendered a steak fry at the playgrounds. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Clary leave Thursday for Casper, Wyo., where they will establish new business interests. Clary will work for Montgomery Ward and manage a resort at Buffalo, dividing time between the two businesses. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Chapin, who were identified with a farm equipment business in San Fernando, leave shortly for Whittier where they have another store. Approximately 100 members and guests turned out for the steak fry. William Dick presented gifts to the Clarys and Chapins." Katherine Agnew, left, serenades the Charles Clays and Howard Chapins.
