Description
Photograph caption dated January 26, 1979 reads, "The caboose and lumber car on a Southern Pacific train derailed at Victory and Mason streets in Canoga Park. Two train workers were injured and taken to a hospital for possible injuries. The train was on route from Burbank to Chatsworth. The accident occurred at 12:40 pm. A youngster looks on."
