Description
Photograph of a view of palm trees in front of the E.L. Doheny residence on Chester Place, Los Angeles, ca.1910. A driveway leads to the 2-story-plus dwelling at left. It features tile roof, a tower with a hexagonally shaped roof on the front of the house, a walkway that circumnavigates the tower, awnings on several windows, and an immaculate front yard. Vines can be seen growing around the base of three palm trees in front of the sidewalk, while a road runs from the center foreground towards the right background.
