Shown in circa 1930, from the northeast corner of Fifteenth and J streets, is the grandeur of the Memorial Auditorium. Dedicated to those who died in service to the United States during World War I, the portico contains reliefs of the United States Marines, the United States Army, the United States Navy and the United States Coast Guard.
