Description
Photograph of a view of Rindge Ranch in Malibu from a rise above the Pacific Coast looking south across an estuary, ca.1935. There is a dirt road beside which are parked two early-model automobiles at right. Two people are standing by the cars. Some dead-looking trees and a patch of cactus frame a depression. A curving, sandy beach can be seen in the distance at right. A note on the back of the photo reads, "location of discovery of Prehistoric Indian Village" and "No negative". Photoprint reads: "Rindge Ranch, location of the discovery of prehistoric Indian village".
