Four directors, Hugh Hudson (Chariots of Fire), Mark Rydell (On Golden Pond), Steven Spielberg (Raiders of the Lost Ark), and Warren Beatty (Reds) pose together on the day the 54th Academy Awards nominations were announced. Beatty received the award for Best Director on March 29, 1982 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Photograph dated March 10, 1982.
