This folio features over 50 woodcuts, many full page, depicting the Chateaux of Bordeaux. There is also 1 colored map. After chapters dealing with the cultivation of the vine, its rootstock, and the classification, Lorbac describes the history and wine production of over 40 chateaux, each illustrated with a detailed woodcut by Lallemand.
